Dancing is what we do!
USA Dance - Fargo, North Dakota, Chapter #2020 is a local chapter of the national organization of USA Dance, a nationwide nonprofit organization comprised of thousands of volunteers who love dancing and appreciate the excitement and romance, as well as the social and health benefits, that dancing brings into their lives.
Our mission, like the national mission, is to improve the quality and quantity of dancing in the Fargo/Moorhead area and surrounding communities. Our chapter’s main emphasis is on social dancing and providing opportunities for the expansion of
dancing skills for fun and enjoyment among all ages and capabilities.
How to Connect with Us
The Northern Lights Dance Club meets every Wednesday evening unless notified by email or social media. Northern Lights Dance Club sponsors either a regular lesson and dance or a special event.
Singles and couples are welcome. No previous dance experience is required. Admission includes the group dance lesson.
Some of the dance styles featured at the Northern Lights Dance Club lessons, social dances, and special events include the Waltz, Fox Trot, Cha Cha, Rumba, Tango, Swing, Night Club Two Step, Line Dance, Schottische, and Polka. The different dance styles are discussed here.
Instructional dance videos are available at the Dance Vision website. The basic videos are free to watch. Advanced videos are available under the Premium plan.
